I've been having some issues lately with my 8240HDC. If I pause or rewind a show and start watching again it eventually skips forward on it's own and I am unable to rewind back to where I was. I initially thought it was because I was more than 30 mins behind and thus the buffer automatically emptied. However, I have had this happen even just being as little as 5-10 mins behind. The disturbing thing is that if I am recording the show and this happens then part of the show will not be recorded. Most recently this happened while I was watching a show called "Lie To Me" which is an hour long, but only 12 mins of the show was recorded. My dvr is currently only about 60% full.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any clue what is going on or how I can fix it?
