I have in-walls in the back of my theater. I was thinking of painting them to match my mains. Paint the outsides in a faux wood and the grills black. Has anyone done this? If so, any pictures of how it turned out?

Three shades of brown, covered in gloss, and flat black for the grill. http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt70/TonyB123_photos/theater047.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt70/TonyB123_photos/theater045.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt70/TonyB123_photos/theater018.jpg avnuttyguy 02-03-09, 10:21 PM I have to admit, most folks, including myself, look at in-wall speakers to "blend-in" and look "hidden", but what you did there look really nice! Especially with the closeness with the door. Nice job! I like it! :D |
