I just picked up a PN63A650 (just in time for the superbowl. Great TV, but that's for a different thread). I'm a software/automation guy wondering if this TV can be controlled in any way via the home network?

Can I telnet to this thing or query/control it through some other IP based method? (It doesn't respond to pings, and doesn't accept connections on the standard telnet port.)

Anyone know?

The Samung's are running a Linux (busybox, etc) firmware, according to the third link below, there is no telnet/ssh login capability. A couple links of interest....
