I have a Panasonic TH-50PHD8UK that is just over 3 years old. It has a very minor buzz on darker images, but if the image has a lot of white, the buzz gets much more audible. Certainly it has become louder over the last year or so.
Is this due to aging, wearing components? Can it be treated w/ calibration?
Thanks.

As power used goes up with the amount of white on the screen, it's that the buzzing is from the power supply.

Is this due to aging, wearing components? My 4-year-old TH-42PX50U was always silent from my 9 foot viewing postion even on bright scenes, but i've noticed over the past several months that it's now making a slight mosquito-like buzzing noise on bright scenes and when i bring up my DVR's somewhat bright settings menus. I used to never hear anything from the couch. I do think that it's being caused by the internal components aging.
