Forgive the possible ignorance, but I thought Pandora would not work with the PS3. Well I tried on Saturday and it worked fine!!

Nice!!

Like I said probably late to the party, but just in case.

I didn't know this; I had tried it a few months ago and it didn't work, I guess the latest Flash update fixed it. Good to know, thanks.

Indeed; they've got a good audio podcast series too, where they discuss various aspects of the musical process.

Does Slacker work? If so I'll be a very happy camper. I find its better then Pandora due to all the extra customization options.

Perfect.

I was considering transferring all of my holiday CDs so I can stream MP3s to the PS3 when we have family over for the holidays.

Instead, I'll just use Pandora and save my self some time.

Sorry for bumping an old thread. But I rather not start another new thread about Pandora, when we have one here.

I am trying to play Pandora using the Sony PS3 web browser. It gets to the loading screen, and loads about 80% and then gets stuck. I've waited around 15 mins and came back and still stuck on the same spot.

I have the latest firmware for the Sony PS3. I've tried resetting the PS3 to default settings, I've tried clearing the cache, clearing the cookies. It doesn't work. There are no security settings that are blocking the PS3. The NAT type is Type 2 (Open). I've also turned off the PS3 and restarted.

I've also tried logging on different Pandora accounts. One that is a Pandora ONE account and another that is a Free Account.

Please help. I've been able to use netflix/youtube/and every other internet feature. Except Pandora gets stuck on loading screen.

Thank you in advance

Pandora is a great service. I use it on my WD TV and sometimes on my laptop.

But I never understood why people liked it more than Last.FM.

Last.FM has 6.5 million songs. Pandora only has about 700,000 songs. And if you noticed, it has a weird matching algorithm. How the heck do you play Avril Lavigne with Mariah Carey? Because they're women??? Plus, you'll bump into the same songs on a more regular basis with Pandora (which I assume it's because there's only 700,000 songs).

I've been trying to bookmark Pandora within the ps3 browser and it isn't even giving me the option. Anyone else seeing this?

I also agree that i bump into the same songs a lot. that's why i never thumbs up anything, b/c they just keep playing it. Much easier to say "i'm tired..." so that i know i won't re-hear songs i don't like.

otherwise, i love it.

Yeah definitely never ever thumbs up a song on Pandora because then you hear it way more then you care for.
