I have a pioneer 5071 which I love, but I am having problems with connecting to my dish network setup. Here's the deal: I recently moved, and after moving switched to dish network, rather than cox cable, and the signal comes in just fine on my other tv, but there is nothing comning through on the 5071.

The setup is as follows:
DVR-522 connected to the other tv via s-video, then the ant-2 output from the DVR goes back to the other room for the 5071 and into ANT A. The settings on the TV guide thing are

Cable: YES - On ANT A
Antenna: NO
VCR: NO

DVR is set to dual mode, and I've tried output via air and via cable (from the DVR menu) with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Do you mean "VIP 622" or "VIP 722"?

Either way, you would have to configure a "cable station", not in use by broadcasters, preferably, and tune the Pioneer to that channel to receive a signal. I use channel 78.

I assume you're concerned about picture quality, if you bought a Pioneer however you're feeding it an analog signal. It won't be as clear as it could be. I'd suggest moving the DVR to the room with Pioneer, and connecting it to tuner #1.
