I am having a bass vibration problem with the right side of my entertainment cabinet/center. The entertainment cabinet on the right hand side vibrates during scenes with a decent amount of bass or when I play music that has some bass. The volume isn’t really high at all when this happens. I guess the bass just sort of collects in that corner area of my entertainment center where my right front speaker is. I was able to determine that it’s not the shelves, drawers or doors but the backing that is nailed attached to the back of the entertainment center (when I lightly push on it, no more noise/vibration). What can I do to prevent this from happening so my wife and I can actually enjoy movies, music, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. =)

you could try applying some screw or glue to it.

Not an easy solution but remove everything from the unit and add more nails to the backing. They probably gave you a dozen 1/4" to 1/2" nails with the unit. Go to the hardware store and find something similiar then just put in more nails. Maybe line the back of the shelves with double stick tape and then put the back on again.

You could always remove the back of the unit too, although some of the ones I had way back when tended to tilt when the back was removed....

I would hope that a sub was not put in the et Center but I guess we can wonder.
