Seeing that the DB4 is only good between 15-55 miles away and not good 1-15 miles away, what about the Clearstream4? Does it do the full 1-65 miles away?

Those distances are just advertising, if you are 1-10 miles from the towers, just about anything will pick up the signal... I suggest you check out the DYI "youtube" 4 bay bow tie antenna modeled after the DB4....

So I built the DIY antenna (similar to a DB4). The picture (below) is using my TV in the basement. The antenna did ok:

You can see the antenna in the background (and tonight's episode of Lost).

I took it outside and hooked it up to the 4-way cable splitter since I canceled my cable (price hiking douche-bags!). I made the antenna 5 feet high so I could just lean it on the house. I angled it correctly the first time trying and now I'm pulling down more channels than ever in HD. I have a shitload of high trees in the back and it's still working well. I'll post other pictures later if I don't forget.

This thing really works. Best of all, it only cost me about $8.64 (I had the coat hangers at home. I didn't own a drill, so it did cost me another $32, but who cares. I still have all my channels and I can reuse the cordless drill.

I know this is a UHF only antenna, but it worked well for my analog VHF stations as well.

Just to help everyone, here's a link to the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) antenna:

Thanks man.

Glad to hear that worked good for you! Saved a bit of money even with the purchase of the drill!
If you would not mind posting your (current) tvfool results at ground level, I would like to see what your antenna did for you!
