I just hooked up My PS3 to a wired router and tried to watch "Lost' in HD on ABC's website from the browser. It came up with the proper screen but would not load. The little swirling blue circle kept turning but no picture. My question: Can you watch broadcast TV shows in HD from their websites thru the PS3?

i've tried to with fox, and it didn't work, so my guess would be not at this time.

Eventually, you might be able to via Hulu, using PlayOn, or something like that. Right now, I believe when using Hulu and PlayOn, you're limited to 480p. But that could possibly change in the future.

There is an option to load another operating system onto your PS3 so if you did that you might be able to, I am going to try this and let you people know.

Eagerly awaiting your results! My wife is always catching up on her shows on the computer and this would get me some big time points with her if its possible!

I watched NBC on the PS3 last thursday and it worked fine.

Edit: opps did not see the HD part, have only done it in SD but it was fine, when I did HD on my computer it was such a hassle I didnt feel like even trying on the PS3

Any chnage on this yet? If you can watch the SD version why not the HD version? Also, does anyone know how long until a show is posted online after it airs?

On NBC I had to setup some account and download it before watching which was a pain so I just watch the SD so I get instant gratification :)
