With all the interest in how the US DTV transition, some Canadians may be wondering how the Canadian DTV transition is progressing. Broadcast Dialogue has a pretty good summary up. The bottom line is there is still a good chance that most of Canada won't have one. I know in the upcoming licence renewals the hot topic already is only asking for 2 year extensions so they don't have to address the 2011 date. Maybe the Americans will feel a little better about their own migration now.
