I currently have Comcast Internet and TV in my apartment
I started with a 6mo promotion which just ended.

I will be switching to a different apartment in the same complex.
When I move next month, will I be able to take advantage of "new customer" offers?

If so, how should I proceed? Fill out the moving transfer form? or just cancel then setup a new account.

If you transfer then you are not new. Cancel and start with a new account.

Im almost positive that it uses your SS# to see that you are not a new customer since you have had service in the last year. I would call and see if they have any new promotions for existing customers. Everytime i threaten to cancel they usually extend some promo.

ok. Right now I'm on their internet and cable TV 6mo promotion which ends this month.

I will be def be canceling tv.

DSL is the only other option.

Do you think it would be better to try canceling and signing up again or should I just call cust service and tell them I am moving and try to get the promotion extended.

When I first signed up, it was through some guy the apartment recommended who actually gave me a slightly better promotional rate. than what was available. maybe I'll give him a call and ask him if he can do something.
