I have an unused 11' x 11' room that we will be using as a guest room. We are planning to place a sofabed bed in the room for seating and add an additional chair. I have an exisiting 92" screen and an Optoma HD70 projector that I would like to utilize in this room. I was planning on mounting the screen on the wall above the window. I am not sure if I will be ceiling mounting the projector or placing it on a shelf. I wanted to get your thoughts on a dedicated theater of this size.

This won't be your main movie room? The Projector/screen are extras you have laying around? Just curious I guess!

Anyways, I think you'll be very tight on the throw distance, but think it'd certainly work.... it'd be a small room but if you put a very long curtain rod above where the windows would be, you could even conceal the screen that way to make it more of a "Bedroom" when guests arrive.
