I love turning unused VGA displays into TV's with NTSC converter boxes. Great for camping and the Garage.
So; I now need QAM \ ATSC Tuners with VGA out.

Any available?

Some of the old Samsung boxes have VGA.

I think the old LG boxes have VGA out jacks. Not sure if they work with computer monitors or not.

LST-4200a, LST-3100a. Both do QAM/ATSC. LST-4200a also does NTSC. Even cooler is the LST-3510a which does ATSC/QAM and has a DVD player. There is also a DVR in the that family, with a number like 3400 or 3410 or something.

They are all out of production, but can be found on ebay. Please double check all specs before buying one, as I have never hooked one up to a monitor, and the signal might not be compatible.

I have 3100 and 4200, but use component on both.

The Samsung SIR-T451 has both VGA outputs and QAM. It is a 5 year old box though.
