 Apparently, by not actually CANCELLING accounts when they say they will. I cancelled my subscriptions two months ago, but just got billed for them today.

They DID manage to disable my online account so I can't even look at the status of the subscriptions, though. I can reset my password, oddly enough, but when I try to log on, it tells me:

"Unfortunately, system errors occurred during your login process. Please try to login again at a later time, or call 1-800-XM-RADIO (1-800-967-2346) for assistance We apologize for this inconvenience."

To their credit, when I called...after waiting 15 minutes for a person, the attendant immediately recognized that the subs had been canceled and refunded the cost....which will take 72 hours...and assumes they do it correctly this time. But of course, that's due to the unprecedented demand for their new service. OY.

They are desperate for money. It's sad but true, and also the reality is from now on when dealing with them, whether talking to a CS rep, or canceling your service, etc make sure you dot all your i's and cross all your t's. So check, double check and triple check your CC.

They did refund the money...well, all but $0.42 of it, anyhow. It's not worth my time to argue over something like that.

I am honestly unhappy about canceling, but after three months, they haven't fixed the issues that caused me to cancel. C'est la vie.
