That depends on if you're talking about the Motorola-manufactured Moxi boxes, or the new CableCARD-based retail unit. The latter should be usable with pretty much any major cable MSO, as they're required to provide CableCARDs for CableLabs-certified devices - of which the Moxi retail CableCARD box is one. However, if you're speaking of the former - no. Those boxes require special infrastructure systems at the cable company's headend, and without those, the unit itself won't function.
