HI Everybody-

I have finally scraped up enough money to purchase an HDTV. I'm trying to get the best bang for the buck and have narrowed my choices down to a 50 inch factory refurb Vizio JV50p (90 day warranty) or a 42 New Panasonic TH42PX80U from New Egg (one year warranty.

I had pretty much decided on the Panasonic but am attracted by the PIP feature of the JV50p.

I will be purchasing an extended warranty regardless of which choice I make.

I would really appreciate any observations the forum can offer. Thanks
