My question is i have a HTPC(Dual tuners) that records programs my parents program are on Dish, and mine are on Standard cable no box just straight out of the wall. I want to know is it possible to split the Dish and STD Cable and then input it to my HTPC so I can record both at the same time, or watch simulteneuosly? So I can watch STD cable on regular TV and then Dish programs are getting recorded on the HTPC. (We only have one coaxial coming out of the wall)

Does that make sense, right now if my parents want to watch something on Dish then I can't record anything on STD since Dish takes over Channel four. And Vice-versa if i want to watch STD cable my parents dish program don't get recorded becuase STD cable is on.
