Just purchased a Pioneer DVR-560H and HD DCT6200 cable box to connect to my HDTV. I'm confuse re connections to enable me to receive HD channels to my TV. To see HD on my TV I need to use either the DVI or Component outputs of my cable box. The DVR does not have DVI of component inputs. How do I set this up so I'm able to watch HD channels from cable and/or record to DVR or am I completely out to lunch. As you can see, I don't know much about AV.

Connect the cable box to the TV with either DVI or component. If you are using your TV speakers you will also need to run red/white audio to the TV. Connect the Pioneer DVR-560H to the TV with HDMI. Finally connect the cable box to the Pioneer DVR-560H using input 3 on the back of the Pioneer DVR-560H. Use s-video if that is available from the cable box. If s-video is not available from the cable box use the yellow video cable. Keep in mind that you can record HD channels but the recording will be in standard definition.
