I have a Toshiba DR560 DVD Recorder with Digital Tuner connected to a HDTV. Questions :

Since it has a Digital Tuner, can I record those HD Channel like 2-1, 4-1 HD channel? I try but it came out blank. Non HD Channels are fine. What am I missing?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

To clarify my earlier question, I don't care if it record in 480i or 720. I just want to record those HD shows. Right now I am getting a blank or not able to display anything on the screen for those HD Channel.

Check sketch 1a or 1b here, depending on how you receive your TV signal. (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showpost.php?p=12298409&postcount=10)

Sounds like you haven't connected an antenna to the toshiba (per wajo's sketches) and scanned for digital channels (just like you did when you first setup up your tv). Or have you already done that and you see the channels, but get blank recordings? If so, make sure you've picked the appropriate channel as the source and not one of your other inputs.

Yes, it is connected to the a HD Antenna via Coaxial In & Coaxial out to TV. But I think I have not scan the channel yet. I will try that and update the result.
