I am nearing the end of my basement dedicated theater build and have gained much insight here and want to thank all on this site. The question I have is what is everyone doing for their in-theater movie posters? I have 3 poster niches that run down the right side wall and span from just in front of the first row to behind the 3rd row bar. The posters will be in a 3" recessed niche and am wondering if a glass cover on the poster frame will be too reflective? Or just leave without the glass? Thoughts?

I buy my posters laminated from allposters.com. For my theater, I spray glue the back of the poster and adhere them to the wall (they'll never get changed anyway). It's a great look and keeps the integrity of the posters.
My stairwell down to the theater has posters, also laminated. I spray-glued them to the wall as well. But then I purchased and cut some sheets of plexiglass and mounted them with the same stuff you hang mirrors with (made of clear material as well). Looks great.

I had to take the glass out of mine due to reflections.

That is what I was worried about. I would like cover the poster but without the reflections

I found no way to combat it except to pull the glass. Even then some posters are still to reflective, but it seemed to solve my issue with it well enough.
I moved my nicest actual movie play bill for "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" to the back row, I left the glass in it. The rest of mine are faked reproductions so I didn't care as much about those anyways.
All my small / mini sized reproductions ones were moved to the concession area.

I’ve lost all interest in movie posters I mean not in my flat their just isn’t enough room to accommodate hundreds of posters. Maybe THX poster if I should ever come by one.
