I thought I would post this specific question here as I'm not getting any answers in my theater build thread.

I want to set up a surround configuration in my really small and odd shaped home theater. I will most likely end up with bookshelf speakers as my rear surround channels. What do you think would be the best solution for this room. My initial thought is to have the rear channels mounted above the sides of the back sofa, and pointed down towards the front sofa. My other issue is the a/c closet. What would be a cheap solution for reducing as much noise as I can from the a/c?
