I have two rows of 3 088's in my theater. I've noticed that the left arm and right arm chairs lean towards the center...is that normal? In my front row I moved the center chair (with both arms) to the right side and then put the right arm and left arm chairs together to create a love seat. There is a huge gap between the seats, even though the top of the headrests touch each other. I checked to make sure the seat backs were secure, and they were. Is this how they are designed? I wish they had adjustable feet...

Second question is can you buy the Berkline motors and upgrade your seats post sale? I thought about having one row motorized, since people who haven't figured out the manual recline technique have a difficult time putting the backrest down. Kinda makes the Berks look ghetto, which they clearly aren't.

Thanks in advance..!

No, this is not normal.

This is not normal, either.

You should contact your dealer about both issues.

You cannot purchase the 3 necessary parts (switch, power supply, actuator) to convert a manual seat to power. Berkline does not support this and will tell you it cannot be done and it will void your warranty. However, we did have a customer a couple years back that had someone willing to do it for him. The customer ordered the parts but, unfortunately, I never did hear how it turned out.

Turn it over and look at the bottom. It may be missing some rubber feet. Also check all the nuts and bolts. I had several Berklines that arrived with nuts not even finger tight.
