My daughter's TV is experiencing some strange symptoms. It will shut off and then come on about every 30 seconds so I suspected the lamp. The tv will also flash 5 red blinking lights. The real crazy problem is, I can't get into the service menu as the remote is doing some strange things also. Every button I push will either turn on or off the TV except for the TV Power button which will do nothing so every time I try and access the process for accessing the menu it just turns on and then off on the next button I push. I'm hoping a new lamp will correct the intermittent on off symptom but curious if anyone knows what's going on with the remote also. Are they related?
