I am particularly interested in the old one with a compact disc graphic. I remember first seeing it in the theaters for Jurassic Park.

Many of the home theater setup/test discs have the trailers on them. My Ovation setup disc has all of them.

Yes you can find these online if you hunt around, I forget where though unfortunately. Usually I just rip them from the disc.

I remember back in the day that I wanted to somehow burn the Dolby trailers onto my dvd's so they would play before movies. I never tried doing this because...I like... think it wouldn't have worked.

I still love playing the DTS movies that have "The Digital Edge" DTS trailers in front of them. You would start the disc and this sonically exciting demonstrating wooshes onto the screen ending with the words "Ths theater features Digital Sound......" I absolutely loved that, as it impresses the hell out of guests.

I once wrote Dolby requesting they include their trailers in discs. I especially loved the helipcopter trailer! It would have been great if there was somehow a way to get these to play in front of a dvd!

The THX trailers are just plain irritating. Everytime I play one of their discs I have to dive on the volume control as their trailers play about 20 decibels too loud. Even if you're at -25db their trailers still blow your roof off and I'm not sure why this is. I would have thought on a THX receiver they'd work better. Nope.

The only discs that have the Dolby trailers are the foriegn ones. My friend's collection of imported kung-fu movies all had them. As for getting the trailers on disc, do a search, I used to have the Dolby one with the several trailers. Again, it's a shame they weren't on the same disc as the movies!
