I ran into this the other day, it would appear that Paragon is finally going to manufacture a Home Version, Popcorn Butter Pumping dispenser that is similar to the big commercial version you see. No price point has been set, but I have been able to attach some literature. It looks a lot nicer and hopefully is a lot easier to use than their current bottle warmer method. From what I understand, this could be available in approximately 60 or so days. They do not have an official release date yet!! :D

I have their current "bottle warmer" and while it works well, I don't like the "water bath" and related dripping and wetness.:(

Does this remedy that? :-)

It's about time.

It looks like it doesn't need any water. The price point will be the deciding factor. Also, the cost of the prepacked butter. And how long will the butter be able to sit there? Right now, I'm mostly watching movies and doing popcorn outdoors in the good weather. And even then only once or twice a week. At least once my theater is completed it will be year round. IF it can come in at about $100, I think there will be a rush.

From reading the pdf again, it looks like the pump screws on the top of their 16oz bottle. So, guessing here, it probably sits in a water bath warmer. And the dimensions seem about right. This is a small unit. Anyone know where to get this? I can't find it online..

Sorry, I forgot to mention this unit is not available on the market yet. It is anticipated that it will be available in approximately 60 days. There is still some final engineering to do.

I am also thinking this will be some sort of water bath, but at least it has the pumper top and hopefully it will get rid of the mess the current version makes, taking the bottles in and out of the water. If they can design this without the water, even better.... I guess we will see...

I TOTALLY AGREE....!!!!

I feel the same on the price point... The current bottles warmers can be found elsewhere at a much reduced cost than at Paragon. If this is priced like their commercial product, no way...

As for the prepacked butter... As long as you use one of the butter products meant for popcorn use, you will be able to let it sit in the container without having to remove it. This includes the clarified butter and the Superkist products that you see being used in the theaters...
