The title says it all... I'm looking for a VCR/DVD Combo unit with HDMI out on VCR. Most of the ones I've found will send the DVD output to the HDMI, and then anything on the VCR is sent out the analog outputs only. Does anybody know of a good combo player than can digitize the VCR output as well? I'm trying to get these two functions down to a single HDMI output for simplicity of operation.

The VHS section outputs a low resolution analog signal so it is not carried on the HDMI output.

Panasonics will do what you want. The EZ-48 has a digital tuner while the EA-37 has no tuner.
Note even older Pannys such as the ES-30v would output VHS over component, the ES-30v didn't have HDMI.
