When putting a hi def signal (Comcast Cable) through my E85, a few lines of the bottom of the screen come out on top. Is there a way to correct that? I've seen a couple of other references to it here but no solutions or I'm just missing them. Thanks in advance.

No ideas on this? Any comments from others who have seen this?

Well, I don't have digital cable, so while you're waiting for someone who can address this, this came to mind. Do you have a flat screen tv? If so, have you set the e85's display output to 16:9 under the Setup menu?
I don't have digital cable either but have a digital CECB and use OTA. I've noticed on a few HD channels when they're broadcasting a SD 4:3 program I'll see about a 1/4 " of bright flashing lines towards the top of the screen on my LCD. I have my TV set for 0% overscan and if I set it up for normal overscan I don't see those lines. When I called my local station about this they said it's in the way they broadcast there signal and suggested I set my TV for normal overscan:rolleyes: Needless to say I just live with it. The same stations when broadcasting HD 16:9 I don't get those bright flashing lines. I think the engineer said they were a vertical interlace signal or something like that.
Could you be seeing the same thing? How do you know the lines you see on the top are actually meant for the bottom of the screen?
I have an E-95 and record hi-def stuff from my comcast box and have never seen this.

I only see it with HD 16:9 content. If you watch the picture closely, you can easily see that the line(s) at the top are actually the bottom of the picture. It's annoying but not unbearable. I'm pretty sure we are set for 16:9 from from the e85, but I'll double check.
