Is anyone else here using the MS Silverlight based Netflix streaming to their Macs?

I have been using it for a while, with my 1.66GHz Core Duo Mini, and the video was fine. But, lately I've been getting a lot of hiccups where the video will freeze for a few seconds. The audio keeps going, but the video freezes.

Is anyone else seeing this? Did anything change recently in Silverlight or Netflix?

(It's not a bandwidth problem, the stream is ahead of the position in the video, memory is fine, and CPU is high but not excessive.. ~80%)

I had forgotten that Netflix streaming was available on Macs. I just checked it out, and yes, there do seem to be a few stutters here and there. Quality isn't all that hot either, but I can't remember if it was better under Windows.

*this is on a MBP 2.53ghz w/ 4gb ram using the lower power video card.

No, it's been good for us ever since the beta. The only Mac we do NF on is a 2.4GHz C2D 24" iMac w/ 4GB RAM.

I just watched a movie today on my C2D mini on a 1080p display. It worked well. I think I noticed maybe 2-3 times where the motion was just a little slow for a second or two. Sure beats having to boot into Boot Camp.

I never noticed slow downs with the old Win Media streaming but the quality was lower too.

I opened up my Mini to expand the memory, just because I had some available. Unfortunately, it seems to have hosed my Mini (I'm still working on fixing it, but it doesn't look good).

The good news is, on the 1.83GHz C2duo Mini I picked up, Netflix streaming was working fine.
