i have an LGBH200 blu ray player and Sony 32xbr6 and they both support 60hz. but when ever i watch a blu ray and i hit info on my remote it says 1080/24P and i know thats the most common display format for blu rays and HD dvds but are there any blu rays or HD DVDs that support 1080/60P ?

1080/60p is not supported by Blu-ray or HD DVD, just 1080/60i. Film is 24p and video is not usually more than 30p.
