My apologies if this has already been discussed before - I did a quick search and couldn't seem to find a similar issue.

I've had my Sony KDF-50E2000 set for about 2 and a half years at this point. A few weeks ago, I started noticing a horizontal bar that has about a vertical length of a little less than an inch that goes across my entire screen. The bar is towards the top of the screen - about an inch or so down from the very top. I only notice the bar in certain cases - mainly when a lighter color is displayed. When I do notice it, the color in the bar seems to be a bit lighter than the color on the rest of the screen. This is very prominent when a white or green color is currently being displayed.

Has anyone had a similar issue? I saw a few threads regarding burn in and a red bar at the top of the screen, but I'm not sure if my issue is lumped in with those.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
