Hello,
I have a problem with my Pioneer Pro-720HD. This Christmas Mr. Bob resoldered my power supply board, after the TV was shutting itself off.
Now the picture flickers a little bit and after some time 10-45 minutes the picture disappears and a green sreen shows up for about 3 seconds (does not fill the entire screen just about 2/3 in the lower right corner)
Then the there is snow all over the TV.
I changed the inputs. Directv HR21 and Sony DVD Player checked the cables and the issue persist.
This problem is strange since both inputs are digital and should not produce analog snow.
Mr. Bob has never heard of the problem, so I am reaching out to the community.

Pioneer Pro-720HD
Directv HR-21 connected via component cable
Sony DVD connected via component cable

720HD doesn't have any digital inputs (HDMI, DVI nor FireWire). CRTs are analog displays, that said all digital inputs have to be converted to analog rgb. I never heard of this problem either. Try asking your question in Pioneer section of hometheaterspot forum.
