Not sure if it is directly a result of Pioneers decision to exit plasma biz, but the non-elite kuro I have had in my amazon shopping cart has fallen continuously over the past 2 weeks. The elite prices seem to be holding their own, although I have not gone to a big box to check those recently. I wonder if the similar thing will happen to the elite models soon. Hope not as I bought one (and am still awaiting delivery) on my elite.

Which Elite did you buy, the PRO111FD 50" has been reduced by 40% from MSRP, but the PRO151FD 60" model is holding it's own.

No BB in my area has any Elite plasmas in stock at the store or in their warehouse.

There is however one electronic store in Eatontown who has dropped the price of the PRO111FD by $1704 and they are in stock.

The 5020s fell about ~20-30 bucks over the weekend.

Hoping this is a trend as even at the current pricing the 5020 blows my whole HT budget. But its the only TV the Wife likes. So I guess the WAF on this makes the premium price acceptable.
