HI,

At this point in time you may have to settle for whichever Samsung DLP you can find. And of course Mitsubishi's still making DLPs for 2009.

I've been out of the loop on here. Is this message saying Samsung is on longer making DLP's???

I guess I've really been out of the loop. What is the "best cost/maintainence frer" TV technology now?

I thought Plasmas were the least viable becuase of short life span and LCD has their issues.

I was magificently pleased with Sammy till I just had the light engine replaced. Now I have some problems with colors. My repairman is off till tomorrow. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty.

If I'd not had this problem I wouldn't have glanced back at this forum as I've been quite pleased with the Sammy. I noticed the Mitsu getting some high praise but Samsung has been making DLP for quite some time. I have 6th generation.

I see mention of colorwheels and other things being improved now. Can anyone fill me in?

I though DLP was the "best/cost" choice because you put a new bulb in and new TV "sort of". I know there is a DLP LED by Sammy, is that going away also?

But I'm curious as to what TV technology is "best" now???
