Hi all:

I posted a similar question in the Home Theater Computer forum. However, I would like to pose the question here specifically for the Pio owners.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Pioneer 111fd on 02/24. I do have a question I hope you can give me your input.

I built a HT machine (dual core, 7600GS video card, Auzentech audio card, Nvidia dual tuner capture card, MCE 05) last year and I use it to play all my movies and music. I am planning to swap out my DVD drive with an LG Blu-ray drive. I am also planning to get a DVI-HDMI cable to connect the 7600GS video card to the 111fd. The sound card connects to my Denon AVR3805 receiver.

My question is this - how do you connect your 111fd/5020 to your MCE machine? I am worried about audio/video sync problem with my setup because the HDMI cable is video only. I do not know if the Pio performs heavy processing in modes such as Icc and such.

Thank you for your input.

Should be fine, lag is pretty minimal in those displays and shouldn't be perceptible. If there is lag, can't you just add a little delay in the receiver?

hmmm...good point...I need to go back and check the Denon manual and see what it says! Thanks for the excellent input.
