I recently moved my wireless router to my component rack so I could connect my 360 to the internet. I am able to use my ps3 to stream video from my pc connected via a wireless adapter, but the 360 won't connect to the pc. I read you can only connect to wired computers if you use a wired connection to the network and vice versa. Is that true?

I have mine all wired, but I thought you could do it wirelessly. Do you have the wireless adapter for the 360? PS3 has that built in...

I've had no problem streaming movies/music wirelessly to my 360. Even WMV-HD movies that are 20 mbps work just fine.

I have an xbox in the bedroom connected wirelessly to Windows Media Center/Media Player streaming video/music/netflix using a wireless N bridge.

Well maybe its my wireless adapter for the pc. Its a cheapo Dynex Wireless G adapter. It keeps dropping the connection. I might relent and go get a long enough Cat 5 cable.

I have my xbox wired to the router and my pc wireless in another room. I can see my music that is on the computer, thru my xbox.
I have done a mix of wireless and wired between my PC and 360 w/o issues.
I have my 360 wired to a Buffalo wireless bridge. Streams just fine.
I'm hardwired and it streamed video fine but not music (really annoying in a game)
So I switched from "folders" to media center

I think its my wireless adapter on the PC side. I had to disable the firewall for my PS3 to recognize it as a media server. I have to figure out what settings are wrong. Or I may just snag another wireless router to use as my primary and switch the buffalo into a wireless bridge.
