"Deception" from Fox is handled the way I like it. It's a box office flop and not an A list movie despite Jackman but still Fox releases it as a dual layer disc and encodes at 34 Mbit/s AVC and adds lossless audio as if it were one of their crown jewels of 2008.
That's the spirit! And it looks mostly very good indeed, especially the night sequences shot on the Genesis.

agreed,Fox did a very good job on this BD,I like the film.Jackman was a bad ass eversince in his career and many beaytiful women in this movie.The most time of this movie was night and the best transfer as you said in high deep black level,the sound was mostly for ambient.The qeustion is who decieved who?

I enjoyed this one, PQ was excellent and Ewan McGregor was amazing like always.

Agreed, Deception looks fantastic.

Finally got around to watching this last night.
PQ and AQ was above average but not reference.
Not a bad movie but story line sort of resembles the movie Derailed.

Looks like this will be a buy for me.:)

I would give this one a rent before buying...
