How do people get D Box to run, and have lossless audio passed to the AVR as well ?

At least my player won't pass HDMI lossless audio and digital Optical, at the same time.

Which player will ?

The pioneer BDP-09 does not either, I believe that the Denon 3800 and some sony's do.

Off for a new player, then....thanks.
Gee this one is about 37 days old.... pack it up for a xmas gift for mom and dad I guess...lol

I can't believe people set up a expensive theater room, D Box an' all. the run dolby digital out of there player ?
Or.. does Everyone run out for a new player after a D-Box install ?
Why Not a HDMI pass through On a D-Box controller... what would that add to the cost of our system .00001% ?

...which players are known to simultaneously send the Dolby True HD / DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack via HDMI and the corresponding lossy DD / DTS soundtrack via SPDIF (Coax / Optical)

Pioneer Elite BDP-HD1 (only for Dolby True HD, as it did not have DTS-HD MA capability)
Pioneer BDP-95FD
Denon 3800-BDCI
Panasonic DMP-BD30K.
Panasonic BD-50
Sony PS3 (HDMI audio out is in DD5.1 or DTS legacy... not in the HD format)

What do you recommend for a grand or under ?
I want to run out 9am tomorrow and get one, so I can try out my new D Box set up.

To think I traded my DMP35 for this Pioneer, no 39 days later it'll be a cheap sale for maybe a panny again.?
Now.. you can't find the Panasonic 35/55 anymore.(which I was told would work)
because yet another new model on the way...35/55 discontinued.

unless I missed an update on my PS3, I don't think it can do both simultaneously.

We do have a new one though

The PS3 works but in DD5.1 or DTS legacy... not in the HD format.

sorry for the confusion

Pioneer BDP95FD all hooked up, D Box, Yammy 6190, no sync issues.
All tests here prove to be fine... and lots of whoa's..
Couldn't be happier.
Those Pioneers do load slow though.. PQ is tops.. and a slick looking unit.

Steve,

I just went ahead and looked at the pictures you have posted and I have to admit you are one hell of a passionate guy :) Terrific work man! There is no way that the seating will even dare to bend a 1/4 of an inch. I also noted you have War of the World, when you have time take a look at this one. This was the movie I found D-BOX was tremendously enhancing the experience.
