What's everyone's favorite demo?

Most powerful as in, purchase quickness, for me would have to Bank shot billards or castle crasher which after a few minutes with a friend I bought.

For me I would have to say Test Drive Unlimited, I probaly played that a month + before I tracked down a copy.
And the Crackdown demo was great as well.


The Halo demo for xbox was awesome.

And going way back the Metropolian Street Racer demo for dreamcast has to be all time favorite. I'd play that hours before bed.
Just love the cars, night time and music.
Ended up liking the demo more then the game.

Probably Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. It was an online demo of the BEST map of the game. People played it so much that they didn't buy the game until the demo was removed. Now with the full game, people still pick that map 75% of the time.

favorite recent demo is halo wars.


when i was a kid i bought a saturn with my own money, but couldnt afford games for a while.... some friends and i played a baseball demo, i dont remember the game, but the demo was just homerun derby.... anyways, we played that all day every day for months.... that and sega rally championship.

my demo is halo wars too.... dunno why but i have played that demo a ton and cant wait to get the real thing.

this gen I probably played the Halo 3 demo the most (never bought the game though).

Or you could say my most recent favorite is Resident Evil 5, because it saved me $60.

+1. I have the full game, but still play the demo sometimes because it's often easier to find a match.

Ten - Total Entertainment Network . First online gaming network used to play Duke Nukem with 33.6 modem....

great demo... not a HUGE fan of the civ series, but it works well on the console.
