Does anyone have a snack tray that fits into the cup holder on a home theater seat? Do you have any recommendations? Do you like or dislike the one that you have? Where can I buy snack trays for my HT seating?

TheaterSeatStore 02-21-09, 12:02 PM Mike there are a number of different options that clamp onto the arm of the seat instead of fitting into the cup holder. Most home theater seating sites offer a few options to choose from in a cherry or oak wood finish and they work quite well. There is an aftermarket product for Berkline seats that does fit into the cup holder but the pricing is around $200 per tray which is steep. If it's something that you are interested in, I can try and see who carries them. The snack trays on certain models are becoming a standard feature where the trays actually fit with a pin into a fixture on the seat specifically for holding the tray. mike_wassell 02-21-09, 12:56 PM Martin: Yes I’m interested but I don’t want to pay $200.00 for them. It does not have to be real wood just something that looks good and is functional. Functionality is most important to me because I doubt if I will be using them when company is over. My girlfriend and I like to eat dinner in the HT. I have the Berkline 12000 imports. Please let me know what you can find out. I appreciate your help. I’ve seen the plastic trays that fit into the cup holder and sell for about $30 to $40 but was looking for something a little nicer. Thanks, Mike TheaterSeatStore 02-21-09, 01:22 PM Ok Mike, give me a day to research and I will PM you some details of where to purchase these. mike_wassell 02-21-09, 02:44 PM Thanks – appreciate your help. s.bradford 02-21-09, 03:12 PM Ok Mike, give me a day to research and I will PM you some details of where to purchase these. Martin... instead of a PM, why not post the info here for the benefit of others. If they were nice enough, I might be willing to spring the extra cash for them. I'm looking for something a little nicer than the plastic trays. Thanks! |
