Cliffnotes version: Great chairs!

I ordered 4 Santa Fe recliners in brown after looking at dozens of different brands.

Took a little over a week from initial contact with Roman to sitting in them in Chicago....outstanding delivery job by his company.

I'm 6'4"; 260#. I was concerned about fitting in them - especially since I couldn't test them out before purchase. Most recliners hit me just below the knees -- very uncomfortable after a short time.

I find the the Santa Fe chair very comfortable. In fact at the end of movies, I don't want to get out of them.....

The build quality is much better than expected. Soft leather with extremely smooth recline action. Very similar build quality to the American Leather recliners I almost pulled the trigger on (at 3 times the $$)

The buttkickers were a pleasant suprise. The wireless links didn't work out for me. I had interference from wireless routers and phones that caused occasional glitches. Once I wired them direct they work perfectly. I run them at fairly low levels.

If you're considering HT seats these are worth a look - highly recommended.

I agree! :)

I also purchased 4 chairs from Roman sight unseen and now 10 days later I couldn't be happier!

There were a few minor glitches when they arrived (loose wire on one chair and a disconnected power switch on another) but Roman provided all the help and answered every question right away.

The recline is indeed very smooth and so is the leather! I've got my wireless buttkickers working good now and everyone is impressed. No more going to the IMAX theater to get jolted out of your seat- and we have one about 2 miles from our home!

These seats replaced a old leather sectional sleep sofa that sat about 6 people which I left for the trash 2 days later!

If you're gonna spend the money - buy quality (and service!) :D

I also have had 4 Private Collection Santa Fe's in my theater for a few months and am very happy. Very nice leather and solid build quality. I too had some quirks with my wireless buttkickers so I just hard wired them and now no problems. They are quite powerful and therefore don't need to be turned up very high.

Two very minor gripes:

1) I wish the recliners were wall-aways. I had planned a straight back bar direcly behind my back row of seating and I'm not sure it is feasible now. These recliners recline back about 16" or so in full recline. I could potentially just move the row forward on my riser but it's not ideal.

2) I wish the individual buttkicker controls had a visible power level so you could tell how high the buttkicker is set.

I have also had my Santa Fe's for about 3 months. I will eventually post pictures.

I love the Chairs. They feel so smooth to the touch. I can sit in them for hours, and am very comfotable. The Wireless kickers didn't workout for me, so I wired them direct, and they add a nice element to the experience. The power-recline is a must have, and I cannot believe I went this long without this. I am happy with the purchase.

The only gripe was I under the impression the Chairs were Wall-away. I was planning on building a Bar/Half wall behind the chairs.

I have had the nuts come off for the armrest/Cup Hideaway . It was a easy fix to put it back on. I believe the Kicker vibration loosened them. I would suggest using locktite in the threads if they come loose for any other owners.

A great buy, Great Chairs, and Great Value.
