I have an athlon 64 dual core 6000+ @ 3GHz running vista 32 w/ 3G ram. Additionally - I have an upgraded NVIDIA GeForce 8500 graphics card. Whenever I try to playback HF10 video using imagemixer SE Player - I get a very jittery response. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I tried pixela support - but they were useless.

Did you manually copy the files to the computer from the Camcorder or are you using the software to copy the files?

edit: if you get an .mts file, try renaming to .m2ts

This is irrelevant, as I explained in another post.

Most likely it is the CPU which is unable to cope. I don't think ImageMixer player can make use of the video card. Try a few other players, as some have more efficient coding, though ImageMixer player generally is not bad already.

Kalak: while I thought this was irrelevant, it actually worked on one system I have. Couldn't however replicate on another.

Probably caused by some other factors. ImageMixer only copies and rename the files, which are not altered (except in case of video recording exceeding max file size).

I used the software to copy the files. I looked at my resources while playing - and it turned out that the CPU is totally maxed out at 100%. I guess I need a quad core?

Hi, I just bought a Canon HF10 camcorder.
After I copied the files from the camera to my harddisk (with Pixela ImageMixer 3SE) I can playback the .m2ts files, but only the first part of each file. For example, if the file is 30 seconds long, it will play about only 10 seconds. I also looked at the CPU % when playing a file and it goes from about 10% to 100% after starting the file.
I have a AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 processor 5600+ and 4GB memory. Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT with Turbocache and PureVideo technology (whatever that means)
Does anyone have any tips for this problem?
Thanks!!
