Hey All,

I purchased a set of Coaster brand theater seats via a power-buy on this website a couple years ago. I've been VERY happy with them, very comfortable.

Sadly, this weekend one of the plastic pulls that triggers the reclining mechanism snapped, leaving the seat unable to recline.

Does anyone know if replacement parts are available? Are there instructions online anywhere on how to get at the mechanism if I was gonna try glue/epoxy the problem...

Thanks everyone

I had one break on me - I bought mine (since they were out of warranty) from Serge (AVS username: Power)

It was a while ago when mine broke, but they were fairly simple to replace - two screws and you had to flip the chair over to get under them to route the metal cable and housing to the right spots.

The plastic handle on mine didn't break, but the cable disconnected from it. Repair was pretty simple. Just removed the plastic handle (only remember there being one screw) and re-attached the cable to the 'anchor' on the handle. No glue was necessary, nor did I have to even turn the chair over to effect the repair. If your handle is broken, the dealer should be able to get one from Coaster.
