Hi,

I have MRF-250 and it comes with 6 cables with 2.5mm male to IR blaster. I need to extend the length of 1 of the blaster cables.

According to the manual, the inputs of the device are 2.5mm Mono Mini Jack.

I'm able to find "stereo" 2.5mm male to 2.5mm to female everywhere like here: http://www.trianglecables.com/201502.html but I believe I need to find "mono" versions of this cable since the manual says MONO mini jack.

The only place I can find a "mono" version is here: http://www.unicornelex.com/detail.php?itemno=29-1290 at $5.47 a pop but this site requires $8 shipping + $5 for handling, I'm not sure that I'm willing to spend that much just to see if this will work.

I was just wondering if anyone can confirm for me if I would purchase a "stereo" version that it would work just fine?

stereo will work fine. did it with the exact extender you are using..

As would any two conductor wire and appropriate butt splices.
