is the 60GB hdd better faster cuase its newer did or will microsoft update the 120GB hdd ?

haven't heard of any "nxe slowdowns" on the 60gb, though it seems lots of 120gb users are having issues.

i dont feel like looking, but i bet they're the same drive speed and cache, maybe higher platter density or perp recording, dunno.

i know there seems be a lot less lag on my 60gig that my brothers...not sure if that makes much sense

Tell your bro I will trade him my 20 gig for his 120.. Go with jesus bro.

This might have to do with the fact that the 120GB units are typically older and have had more patches installed over the course of time. I took several people's suggestion and cleared my cache and even my 120GB runs super-smooth now. There was even a recent thread on how to do it here.
