Okay, I know I am not the first, but cant find the answer here.

I put the equipment in the back of the room. The remote worked by pointing at the screen but then I made the wall black, so it does not reflect anymore. I am also adding IR lighting dimmers, so what I need to do its:

Create some way above one of my front speakers to reflect the IR signal back to the back of the room.
I dont want to put mirrors or anything, so i was looking for a repeater that simple returns the same code back out in the opposite direction.

How do you guys do this?

THanks

I have found the Xantec to be reliable. Hard wire to the back. I had a cheap RF repeater, but it generated spurious bits. Several people I know use the battery replacement RF units with some success.

Don't think silver for mirrors, this is IR. You need to reflect 930nm, not shorter than 650. Gloss black may work fine. Test.
