i dont really know any specifics about them.
my projector is 720p so i just use mid priced m'price cables (thru a m'price 4x2 hdmi switcher) into pj and hdtv.
i've had this m'price gear since july, '08 with no issues. 'course, with a pj it's just video and no audio thru my hdmi cables.

someone else with more knowledge than me can probably give you more specific advice.

For 10ft, you could practically use wet string. :p
