Hello,
I just acquired a Marantz VP-12s4. I have two questions to owners of this projector:
1- I noticed the lens moves slightly sideways a little bit if pushed around. Is this normal? My previous projectors, the lens was firmly fixed in its place and could not be displaced even at small moves.
I also noticed the lens has two states with a slight push in / pull out act. When the lens is in, it can't be focused (is out of focus). When it is pulled out, the picture can be focused. Weird since this is not mentioned in the user's manual!
2- As you know, the projector comes with a color temperature calibrator. I am wondering if this device does a complete color calibration or, the projector still needs to be calibrated with a true device such as Eye II?
I appreciate your replies.
Thanks, Ramin
