I am newbie to the camcorder. I am planning to buy Canon HG10 Camcorder. Can you please clarify few things for me.

1. Can we connect canon HG10 Camcorder directly to Standard definition TV or we can connect only to HDTV.
2. Can we play DVDs burned with the bundled software in standard DVD players.

Unless the hg10 is different to to my sony sr-12 the answer is yes-yes.
