Hi, I just connected my HD cable box to the DVDO Edge via HDMI, and am running the HDMI out directly to my plasma TV. I have noticed that the picture displays a subtle but noticeable "judder", especially on text such as the cable channel and information displays.
I know it is the Edge causing the problem because I tried a direct connection from the cable box to the TV using the same HDMI cable and the "judder" disappears completely. I have everything on the Edge set on Auto, and also tried setting it to 1080p 60hz, resetting everything to default, and powering it down and starting it up again. My cable box is set to output at 1080i only, but I also tried having it output in native format and that created all kinds of problems when changing channels. Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem with the unit, or do I have a defective one? Thanks!
