For the past several weeks i've been seeing a new optoma hd71 at circuit city. After looking at the specs and everyting it really didn't suit my needs except for one (light cannon). For $350 I could not pass it up. I will be mounting it between two ceiling fans from my vaulted ceiling. The projector will need to be mounted 60'' down on an angled vaulted ceiling. Any advice on a decent mount for this? Seen the Chief CMA-395 - Angled Ceiling Adapter, Chief CMS Adjustable Extension Column and Chief RPA-U - RPA Series Universal Inverted LCD/DLP Projector Ceiling Mount but a looking for something a little more affordable. Those Chief components will run me about $350. Was hoping to do something in the $150-$200 range. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I stumbled upon an opened OmniMount-3N1-PJT http://www.mountsandmore.com/OmniMount-3N1-PJT-OM0220.html at another CC today for $25. I think I am gonna get a cathedral ceiling mount that accepts 1 1/2 pipe and make my own adjustable drop extension rod by using using two pieces of 1 1/2 with a 1 1/4 pipe in the middle using set screws to secure. I set up the projector in my master bedroom last night to check it out. I was impressed at the image quality on a sage painted wall at 113''. Didn't take much thou as this is my first projector.
